I love yoga; I have for many years and now I understand it to be a true form of practicing self-compassion. So many of us are in a nurturing role to our children, family, friends and in our communities. A regular yoga practice can be a consistent form of self-care that fills your cup, so you can give from the overflow.
In addition to the personal benefits of a yoga practice (a more relaxed, stretched body, greater access to deeper breathing that calms the mind, an amazing tool for stress management off the mat) the yoga community is a beautiful group of people to travel through life with. It is so well worth the effort to try different kinds of yoga, with different teachers to see which one is right for you.
I teach group classes and am available for private instruction as well.
